Christmas Ski Short Break Holidays in France – December 2023

Join us this Christmas 2023, in the beautiful Aravis Mountains in France, on a short ski break where we will take care of all the festive preparations.

That means you can relax and enjoy a fun, social time both on and off the slopes.

Nothing beats skiing over the Christmas period, with the ski resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand coming alive with entertainment and activities, to make family ski holidays and Xmas ski breaks with friends lots of fun, both day and night.

We will be running our popular Christmas mid-week and weekend ski breaks at our home base of the Aravis Lodge as well as our special festive weeklong trips.

Christmas Ski 2023 – ideal for families, couples and groups of any size

If you fancy combining some fabulous skiing in the picturesque villages of Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz, with some charming, traditional Alpine festive cheer, then come and join us at the Aravis Lodge this Xmas in December 2023.

Our celebrated Christmas ski breaks offer fabulous food and drink, great company and atmosphere, but above all, you will be really well looked after by our onsite team.

Let us worry about the cooking and washing up… you sit back, drink bubbly, ski and relax!
Just think – no washing up or housework the whole time, and plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied!

The magic of the snowy winter wonderland outside, coupled with our cosy, festive chalet-hotel creates an unforgettable Christmas – with either friends or family.

Christmas Ski Weekends – December 2023

Our 4-day weekend break is fully catered on a half-board basis, with buffet breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3-course evening meal plus wine included every night.

Then to celebrate in style, Christmas Eve begins with a reception with bubbles and canapés in the bar followed by a delicious celebration dinner.

Christmas Day starts in a relaxed fashion with a cooked breakfast; despite the festivities the resort is fully open with all the ski lifts running, so you can spend Christmas Day skiing and enjoy a full day on the slopes.

On your return to the Lodge, you can enjoy afternoon tea and Christmas cake, followed by a traditional Christmas turkey dinner with all the trimmings, and Christmas pudding to finish later that evening.

We can also cater for other dietary requirements, including vegetarians and vegans as well.

Christmas Ski Midweeks – December 2023

Join us for an Inter Festive-period 3 day short break trip – allowing you to enjoy a quick ski holiday before New Year and after you have celebrated Christmas at home.

For our guests on a mid-week stay over the Xmas period, Thursday 28th Dec will be our chef’s night off.

It presents you with a great opportunity to enjoy an evening out in either Saint Jean de Sixt or La Clusaz, absorbing the local festive atmosphere and sampling one of the many restaurants on offer.
