The spacious rooms have all been finished to a high standard in a contemporary mountain style, with the majority having spectacular views over the ski field and down in to the Manigod valley.
The hotel is a family run affair in the true sense of the word, with the second and third generations actively running the hotel – and the fourth generation often around the hotel too!
They pride themselves on their Savoyard welcome, and have created a luxurious and comfortable space from which to really enjoy your short break ski holiday.
The 23 bedrooms are all of a very good size and have been furnished to a high standard, using a modern mountain theme as the inspiration. The rooms are over three floors, all accessed by an elevator. Most benefit from a very sunny southerly aspect overlooking the pistes of La Croix Fry and the stunning Manigod valley beyond.
The ‘cosmic’ sauna pod overlooks the pistes and the valley beyond, and for an extra indulgence massages are available to book on request.
The hotel has a comfortable, well priced bar with a sunny terrace which is equally popular with locals as well as hotel guests. The spacious hotel restaurant adjacent to the bar has an exceptional reputation and has fabulous views across the mountains.
Our ski hire partners are a short stroll away from the hotel and the hotel benefits from a ski room with individual heated lockers for your convenience, which access the piste directly from the door.

Hotel les Sapins – Rooms
The hotel has 23 luxuriously appointed rooms including twins, doubles, triples, and quadruples. Many of the rooms have south facing, spacious balconies from which to enjoy the views out over the pistes and the Manigod valley beyond.
All rooms have modern, well appointed shower or bathrooms with luxurious toiletries, comfortable dressing gowns and big, fluffy towels.
The rooms are all very spacious and beautifully appointed with Wi-Fi throughout and large, flat screen TVs with English speaking channels.
Hotel les Sapins – Social Facilities
The social hub of the hotel is without doubt it’s Savoyard bar with it’s beautiful, sunny terrace overlooking the ski slopes. The bar is open all day long and is popular with locals, hotel residents and skiers alike. The bar has an extensive and reasonably priced drinks and wine list.
The hotel has a comfortable, south facing lounge area reserved exclusively for residents situated on the basement floor of the hotel, overlooking the pistes. This cozy area is the ideal place to chill out after a day on the slopes, or to watch a match on the giant drop down projector screen.
For your wellbeing and relaxation, the Wellness centre offers massage treatments by appointment- we recommend that you book these in advance with the hotel- as well as a pool with a counter current should you feel the need to exercise further after a day on the slopes!
If chilling out is more your thing, the pool also incorporates a jacuzzi bench and a lumber massaging water spout. The cosmic sauna pod is out on the terrace overlooking the valley, and an ideal spot from which to relax and star gaze.
Away from the skiing, the hotel is one of the social hubs up on the Croix Fry. Once the slopes close, there are several bars and a couple of ski shops within a short stroll, but essentially, this location is one in which to enjoy some calm and tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday, modern life.

Hotel les Sapins – Location & Skiing Access
The hotel is ideally situated piste side in the Croix Fry area of the La Clusaz ski network, making this a truly ski in/ski out accommodation.
Just an hour’s airport transfer from Geneva, the Croix Fry/Merdassier area of La Clusaz boasts plenty of cruisy, tree lined, blue and red runs whilst at the same time benefitting from direct access to the more challenging terrain to be found in the Etale sector of the resort.
Croix Fry/Merdassier boasts the most extensive night skiing in the French alps, which is accessible with your included lift pass on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the season and every night (excluding Sundays) throughout the February holidays.
The included Aravis lift pass also gives you access to 90km of additional skiing in neighbouring Le Grand Bornand, accessed via a short bus ride from La Clusaz village. Furthermore, the cross country skiing of Beauregard is accessible from just across the road from the hotel.
Our recommended ski hire partner is a short stroll from the hotel, and your gear can be stored in your heated ski locker in the hotel’s ski room with direct access on to the piste. A regular bus service runs from just beside the hotel down in to the main village of La Clusaz (daytime only).
