Available on all our ski weekends, midweeks and weeklong holidays, and applies to everyone on your unique booking.

Have you booked your holiday through us previously? If so, you can receive an additional £10pp discount, on top of the Early Booking Discount above, giving a total discount of £30pp.

This applies to all party members in a group booked by a returning guest – even those who’ve not stayed with us before.

Guests must be on the same unique booking as the person(s) having been before to receive the Returning Guest discount, not across multiple bookings.

Please note – the Returning Guest Discount is only valid in conjunction with the Early Booking Discount above, for bookings made and deposit (£150 pp) paid by Friday 15th September 2023. It cannot be combined with the any other Early Discounts or Promos, and does not apply to babies.

We are offering **FREE Group Beginner and Improver Ski Lessons** in Le Grand Bornand for guests staying at the Aravis Lodge on the following breaks in 2024:

Monday 1st – Thursday 4th April – 3-day midweek, with 2-hour lessons on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday = 6 hours total

Thursday 4th – Monday 8th April – 4-day weekend, with 2-hour lessons on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday = 8 hours total

Who the free group ski lessons are for

They are for beginners and improvers only, with absolute beginners being given the priority, and they are subject to a minimum number of people signing up for them in order for these group lessons to go ahead.

Both adults and children aged 5 upwards are welcome, though you might not be in the same group together, depending on demand.

Beginners – For first time skiers or those who’ve just had a taster session at an indoor slope. Lessons will cover absolute basics, primarily on the nursery slopes to begin with, then progressing to green runs when you are ready.

Improvers – For skiers on their 2nd or 3rd holiday looking to ski more of the mountain. Lessons can cover a refresher on green runs, then moving onto blue runs, with the aim of improving your confidence with the snow plough, using drag lifts etc.

When the free group ski lessons will be

Lessons times will be between 09:00 – 11:00 and 11:00 – 13:00.

We cannot guarantee a particular time-slot ahead of time, and the exact times / instructor names will be confirmed when you arrive at your accommodation.

Availability is limited and these lessons will be offered on a first come, first served basis, so please double check availability with us before booking your holiday if these free group lessons are a big factor in your booking decision.

These breaks in April are the only time that the free group lessons are being offered this winter, but private lessons will be available to book through us for guests staying at the Aravis Lodge and other accommodations in Le Grand Bornand throughout the season.
